Mark Calaway made his debut back in 1989 and quickly would be recognized as The Undertaker, Sid Eudy, who later became Sycho. Sid wrestled in the smallest territories, nothing like the sell-out crowds who would cheer and jeer both of these larger-than-life main event performers just a few years later.

"He's Middle AGED & CRAZY" is how Terry Funk was referred to but a former NWA World Champion, the 1980s was Terry in his prime. Mick Foley who later became 'Mankind' was a totally CRAZED Character but back in 1988 then known as Cactus Jack he was part of 'The Stud Stable', Foley was being noticed for his interview skills and in ring character development, soon after he began wrestling for the NWA.

From 1993 to 1996, Shawn Michaels and Scott Hall defined what 'backstage power' was all about, termed 'the clique'. For all of this, their paths crossed in the late 80s as Hall & Michaels showcased their singles wrestling ability in this historic clash of Shawn and Scott Matches.

Six of the most well-known wrestling superstars started from very humble squared circle beginnings. 'Terry Boulder', AKA Hulk Hogan, hit our screens in 1979 down south. The Warrior and Sting, known as the Blade Runners, were once a tag team in 1986, plus Shawn Michaels, Randy Savage, and Rick Rude.
